On the 15th of April 2011 LTS signed a framework agreement, including a basic use agreement concerning the designation of mountain bike trails, with the South Tyrol Farmers’ Association (SBB) under the auspices of the then minister Hans Berger.

While the framework agreement outlines the primary basis for mountain biking in South Tyrol, the contract text should be used by operators and land owners as a concrete model for contractual agreements at specific locations.
